What is Practicode
Practicode is a web-based training program allowing new medical coders to gain the confidence to code real-world cases in various specialties. Practicode shows you which skills you need to succeed, where your skills gaps exist and what you need to work on to reach “job readiness.”
Practicode Course- This course is a 6-to-10-week up to 6-month online practicum. CPC-A’s get real-world experience coding actual medical charts. CPC-A Practicode Module Overview
This online program allows application of medical coding skills for professional services (physicians, mid-level providers, etc.) and certified medical coders. It is acceptable for non-certified medical coders to take this program. The program provides 18 months of access from the date of purchase. Additional access time can be purchased if needed. These programs are intended for you to apply medical codes based on the program you purchase. Assures a broad knowledge in reviewing and assigning the correct procedure and diagnosis codes for medical services.
Technology skills: These are the basic skills that you will need to participate in the course content.
- Use of email to communicate with the Practicode Response Team, you should be able to send and receive email attachments.
- Using the Internet to access online course materials and any additional online resources you may want to use to complete the coding content.
